About Tacity
The name Tacity is derived from the word ‘tacit’, as in ‘tacit knowledge’. This is the knowledge learned from a lifetime of experience that can’t easily be written down. As a society, we can do great things, but often the efforts of good people are diminished by their limited financial expertise.
Tacity’s mission is to embed our financial expertise into ethical organisations so they can deliver the greatest value to society.
Tacity is a specialist non-tax financial services provider
We have the unique skills and knowledge that assists small to medium enterprises (SMEs) improve their financial capabilities. Traditional accounting practices will offer some of these important services but lack the specialised skills to deliver them with the same level of efficiency and quality, meaning you will be paying more for less.
We seek to provide these solutions to all small businesses, but this requires some very expensive and time-consuming investments. At present, we focus on working with a select group of clients through long term managed financial service agreements.
About the Founder
Stephen Swann founded Tacity after working in many senior management roles in large multinational corporations. He understands the value of good financial practices for successful organisations.
He has in-depth experience in data modelling and business analysis. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant with a Master of Information Systems and a Graduate Diploma in Project Management. He is a specialist in systems improvement for small to medium enterprises (SMEs).
